Collier School to Host Open House March 21st

Collier School will host an Open House on Wednesday, March 21st from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at their campus in Marlboro Township. Collier provides a nurturing environment where students with challenging emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs in grades 6 through 12 from throughout New Jersey can make a fresh start through quality education and therapeutic support.  Open House participants will take a tour with one of our students, see our academic and VoTech classes, speak with administrators, and experience Collier School in action.  Please RSVP to 732-946-4771 x210 or jnavagh@collieryouthservices.org.

Collier School is a state-approved, private, nonprofit school for students with disabilities whose needs cannot be met in the public school.  The program’s extensive academic curriculum prepares students for higher education, while a strong counseling component encourages them to address their individual issues.  Collier serves students with a range of social, emotional and behavioral issues, including depression, anxiety, poor socialization skills/isolation, oppositional/ defiant behavior, discouragement/low motivation, school refusal, and mood, attention or adjustment difficulties.  Nearly 80 percent of the Class of 2011 are pursuing higher education.
