Sylvan Middletown Offers Free Tutoring To Kids Who To Need Catch-Up, Post Sandy
Many students in the New Jersey Monmouth county area have seen their academics impacted be-cause of Hurricane Sandy.
To help students catch up on school work, Sylvan Learning centers in Middletown, NJ are offering free learning days to children whose school lives were interrupted by the hurricane.
Aptly called, ‘Days of Learning’ Sylvan centers will offer one hour of free tutoring (on both days) to students who reserve their spot by calling Middletown Sylvan Learning center. The offer is open to any non-Sylvan student who reserves a Saturday afternoon spot on December 8 or December 15.
"As a community partner, Sylvan hopes that in a small way our dedicated teachers can give children some of that lost time back with a free hour of personalized tutoring in math or reading,"
Parents who would like to schedule a free hour of tutoring for their student should contact Sylvan Learning centers at 732-615-2227 to schedule a time. Space is limited so please call to schedule your appointment. Hours will differ depending on availability.
