Lacrosse in Middletown (LIM), a parent organization organized to raise the required funds to bring boys and girls lacrosse to Middletown High School North and South is happy to announce it will be holding their first lacrosse camps on July 24-26th and August 14-16th.
Since the approval of the organization by the Middletown Board of Education in May, LIM has been busy putting together a board of directors and organizing a group of parents that are excited about the opportunity to bring this action-packed sport to the town.
LIM has been busy developing our website and organizing our camps.
The goal of these camps is to give the opportunity to the Middletown Community including the nearly 500 Middletown High School students who expressed interest in the sport a chance to come out and get a true introduction to the sport. This will be the kick-off to building a successful lacrosse program in Middletown.
If your child has an interest in the sport, they are encouraged to attend. LIM has secured the coaching services of the Maverick Lacrosse Organization. These camps are the start of many exciting opportunities LIM is planning on to bring the sport to the community.
LIM is working on Lacrosse in Middletown Day.
The day will be filled with kids challenge games, lacrosse vendors and a few brief exhibition games to allow people new to the game a chance to see it in action.
