Arresting Update: DWIs, Alcohol Underage
The following information was obtained directly from Middletown Township Police Department records. It does not indicate convictions.
Middletown police arrested the following people recently on DWI and underage drinking charges:
• Daniel Sarmento, 23, of Concord Avenue, in the Leonardo section of Middletown, was arrested on Feb. 3, by Sgt. Michael Kenney, and charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop.
He was released pending a court date.
• Angela Dacosta, 48, of Campbell Avenue, in the Belford section of Middletown, was arrested on Feb. 3, by Patrolman Keith Hirschbein and charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop.
She was released pending a court date.
• Edward McDermott, 22, of Koosman Drive, in the Leonardo section of Middletown, was arrested on Feb. 3, by Patrolman Frank Mazza and Patrolman John Mele, of the Quality of Life Unit, and charged with providing alcohol to minors.
He was released pending a court date.
Dylan Thiel, 20, from Statesir Place, Middletown, was arrested on Feb. 3, by Patrolman Frank Mazza and Patrolman John Mele of the Quality of Life Unit, and charged with possession of alcohol underage.
He was released pending a court date.
