Middletown police arrested the following people recently on marijuana possession and distribution charges:

• On March 2, Patrolman Richard Raike arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile from Highlands and charged him with distribution of marijuana, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a school zone.

He was released pending a court date.

• On March 2, Patrolman Richard Raike arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile from Middletown and charged him with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly persons offenses.

He was released pending a court date.

• Justin Taylor, age 18, of Mohawk Avenue, in the Leonardo section of Middletown, was arrested on March 3, by Patrolman James Beirne, and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, disorderly persons offenses.

He was released pending a court date.
