Thomas J. Shannon, 33, of Heck Street in Asbury Park was indicted Wednesday on charges he had marijuana and planned to distribute it on May 20, 2012 in Middletown.
He was also charged with having $9,510, allegedly derived from sales.
The Grand Jury's vote is a formal charge, not a conviction.
