Brightbill's Colleagues Pour on Praise

Mayor and Township Committee thank outgoing deputy mayor for six years in office

and township committee members publicly thanked outgoing on Monday for her two terms on the governing body.

During the regular committee meeting, the last of the year, Fiore presented Brightbill with a proclamation in recognition of her six years of public service to . He also gave her a commemorative clock.

Brightbill has served on the township committee since 2006. She held the deputy mayor's office in 2007, 2008, and this year. She also led the committee as mayor in 2009.

Known largely as a community volunteer, Brightbill currently serves as township committee liaison to the . She is also sits on the township’s Green Team, and the Planning Board. She previously served on the Township’s Recreation Advisory Committee.

The graduate has also co-chaired and is a trustee. She is a pastvice-president.

Brightbill has a degree in mathematics from the University of Oklahoma. Her two grown children  graduated from the Middletown public schools. She and her husband live in the township's section.
