A woman was taken to the hospital after the car she was driving overturned at Highway 36 and Texas Ave around 10:15 a.m. Monday morning, said Middletown EMS Spokesman Bob Pfleger.
Middletown Police, Middletown Township First Aid & Rescue Squad, Port Monmouth First Aid Squad, and Port Monmouth Fire Company responded.
The driver, who was not identified, was transported by Port Monmouth First Aid to Jersey Shore Medical Center.
Correction: This story was corrected at 1:30 pm Feb. 18 to note the driver was a female.
