Our best wishes go out to the family of the pedestrian. This tragedy brings into the focus the lack of safe places to walk and/or cycle. This was a senseless loss of life, and is particularly tragic, as Aberdeen just south on route 34, installed a sidewalk recently.

If saving lives isn't enough for you, separate, bicycle-pedestrian paths can increase property values by up to $8,800.
