Volunteers Clean Up Debris at Sandy Hook and Monmouth Cove

Helpers needed between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 23.

Clean Ocean Action is seeking volunteers for their program called Waves of Action: “For The Shore” to help improve and protect the marine environment disrupted by Hurricane Sandy. The are holding monthly clean up days. 

Throughout 2013, COA is engaging its network of organizations, businesses, citizens, and municipalities to help coastal communities throughout New Jersey and New York.  

Join Clean Ocean Action and over 20 other organizations, businesses and municipalities on Saturday, March 23rd for the Fourth Wave of Action "For the Shore." 

Sandy Hook, NJ – Park Clean Up (Highlands, NJ)

  • 10 am – 12 pm
  • Volunteers Needed
  • Meet-up Location: Sandy Hook National Recreation Area (Lot B), Highlands, NJ 07732
  • Project Description: Volunteers will clean up debris in the marshes and beaches along Sandy Hook Bay
  • Note: Recommended to wear proper shoes and gloves.

Port Monmouth, NJ — Monmouth Cove Marina Cleanup

  • 10 am – 1 pm
  • Volunteers Needed
  • Project Led By: Monmouth County Parks System
  • Meet-up Location: 200 Port Monmouth Road, Port Monmouth, NJ 07758
  • Project Description: Volunteers will clean up debris in Monmouth Cove Marina

if all those on Gubmint handouts were made to earn their free cheez---regular folks wouldn't have to give up their time off from providing handouts.....................
