When and where: Friday, March 16, at the Middletown Arts Center. The concert will begin at 4:30 p.m.
Why you should go: Get out with the kids and enjoy a concert that are an interactive blast of dancing and singing with Miss Sherri. The concert is recommended for children 4 years and older.

Third Annual Sickles Market 'Girls' Night Out'
When and where: Friday, March 16 at 7 p.m. at Sickles Market, Little Silver.
Why should you go: Celebrate a night out with just the girls this Friday night and donate to a good cause.
The evening is for celebrating happy and healthy living with the coming of spring. Attendees will enjoy food, fun and favors, all benefiting the Jacqueline M. Wilentz Comprehensive Breast Center at Monmouth Medical Center.

'Awakenings': A mixed medium art show of established and emerging artists
When and where: Friday, March 16 at U Gallery & Boutique. The show will begin at 6 p.m.
Why you should go: Unleash your artistic side with the opening reception of "Awakenings."
A mixed medium art exhibit of local established and emerging artists, featuring the works of: Alan Barnett, Jill Caporlingua, Lauren Curtis, Ben Danzi, Jill Kerwick, Stephanie Condouris Kuhrt, Kathy Polenberg, and others.
There will also be a special musical performance by The Aster Pheonyx Project.

Little Silver Fire Company St. Patrick's Day Celebration
When and where: Saturday, March 17 at the Little Silver Volunteer Fire Company No. 1. The celebration will go from 3 to 10 p.m.
Why you should go: Enjoy a family friendly community event with a traditional Irish fare and live music. Children can enjoy organized games and activities until 7 p.m.
What does it cost: Tickets for adults are $45 in advance or $55 at the door. Tickets for teenagers ages 13-20 are $10 and no charge for children 12 and younger.
St. Patrick's Day Dinner Dance
When and where: Saturday, March 17 at the St. Dorothea's Roman Catholic Church. Event starts at 6 p.m.
Why you should go: Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a buffet and dancing to DJ Jimi. Buffet includes: corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, chicken Marsala, stuffed shells and more.
The event is BYOB.
What does it cost?: $25
Easter Egg Hunt and Lunch with the Easter Bunny
When and where: Sunday, March 18 at the Long Branch Elks Lodge. The egg hunt will begin at 12:30 p.m. and continue until 3.
Why you should go: Join the Easter Bunny for lunch and then go and hunt for the gold and silver egg in addition to extra candy filled eggs.
What does it cost: This event is free for all children under 12 years old. There is a $7 donation for all others.
