Man Charged with Burglaries in Middletown and Red Bank
A Bloomfield man was arrested and charged with the alleged burglary of one Middletown home and three Red Bank homes.
The Middletown Township Police Department arrested a Bloomfield man last week for his alleged role in the burglary of four area homes.
Zecariah J. Hubbard, 20, of Bloomfield, faces 12 charges of burglary, theft, and conspiracy, after he allegedly burglarized one Middletown home and three Red Bank homes.
According to the indictment, Hubbard allegedly entered a home on Alexander Court in Middletown on Tuesday, June 5; a home on Campbell Court in Red Bank on Thursday, May 31; a home on Hubbard Avenue and a home on West Front Street in Red Bank on Monday, June 4.
After entering each home Hubbard allegedly took over $500 of moveable property. The indictment explains that some of the items taken from the homes include jewelry, medication, and electronic equipment.
Hubbard’s charges of conspiracy come from him allegedly working with Andrew Kimmet to commit the alleged burglaries and thefts.
Hubbard has been remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution on $55,000 bail.

New editor is trying to do her best but knowing the area helps. So much of middletown is red bank and some parts are even atlantic highlands. I feel like the Middletown Patch is losing its local touch.

Years ago I was against Rosemary Peters' campaign to change the 5000 07701 households to 07748 - too many magazines, catalogs, utility & cc bills to have to change my address on. Now I wish she had succeeded. It's annoying as hell to live in Middletown and have a Red Bank address, always having to explain it to visitors and delivery people. The worst is having to go to the Red Bank PO with its lack of a parking lot every time I need to pick up certified mail. And then there's this petty pet peeve of mine: I love garage sales and I can't believe some Middletown people put their ads under "Red Bank" in the classifieds and Craigslist. I've lived here my whole life so I know which streets are actually in M'town, but there are garage salers out there driving around in circles in RB looking for the sale! :-) I live in Middletown, I pay Middletown taxes and I want to have a Middletown address. I wish they'd fix it already.

These scumbags terrorizing Homeowners and Children by breaking into their homes should really think about what they are doing! How do these parents explain to their kids ..."you're not even safe in your own house?" Victimized is what they are.
Are these scumbags not afraid of being shot???? They must have a serious drug problem doing things like this!... well ...If you have a Drug problem??? ..don't make it our problem!
