Middletown Police Blotter: Feb. 13-21

One Middletown resident was arrested by police two days in a row.

The following information was distributed by the Middletown, NJ Police Dept. on Feb. 22, 2013. An arrest does not indicate a conviction, and all are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Unless noted, all were released pending a court date.  

Feb. 13: Christian Cofone 38, from Clavendon Court in Middletown was arrested on by Ptl. Kent Thornton for simple assault, terroristic threats and criminal restraint. He was held on $12,500 bail set by Judge Richard Thompson. 

Feb. 14: Christian Cofone, 38, of Clavendon Court in Middletown was arrested by Sgt. Paul Bailey for DWI, stalking,  and violation of a restraining order. He was held on $75,000 bail with no 10% option set by Judge Richard English of the Monmouth County Superior Court.

Feb. 15: Robert Whelan, 52, of Carr Ave. in Keansburg was arrested by Ptl. Brady Carr for disorderly conduct and obstructing the administration of law.

Jon Cook, 18, of Broadmoor Dr. in Lincroft was arrested by Ptl. Michael Reuter for underage possession of alcohol.

Feb. 15: Ptl. James Beirne arrested a 15 year-old male juvenile from Leonardo for possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Four 17-year old males -- two from Lincroft, one from Middletown, and one from Red Bank-- were arrested by Ptl. Michael Reuter for underage possession of alcohol.

Feb. 17: Raymond Hancock, 37, of Tindall Rd. in Middletown was arrested by Ptl. Donald Coates for DWI.

A 17 year-old male from Middletown was arrested by Ptl. Lawrence Seymour for obstructing the administration of law. 

Feb. 18: Michael Stephens, 50, of Sewell Ave. in Asbury Park was arrested by Ptl. Stephen Greenwood for simple assault, hindering apprehension, obstructing the administration of law and on contempt of court warrants issued by the Holmdel and Wall Municipal Courts. He was released after posting $5,177 bail.

Benjamin Dye, 32, of 97th Ave. in Old Town, FL, arrested by Ptl. Raymond Sofield for hindering apprehension , possession of a fake driver’s license, false reports to law enforcement and on a fugitive warrant issued by the Dixie County Court in Florida. He was held on $106,000 bail.

Thomas Donovan, 23, of Shoreland Terrace in Middletown was arrested by Ptl. Kent Thornton for possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Feb. 19: Matthew Edelstein, 22, of Leedsville Dr. in Lincroft was arrested by Ptl. Adam Colfer for disorderly conduct.

Feb. 20: Gregory Carroll, 36, of East Lacey Rd. in Forked River was arrested by Ptl. Andrew Siciliano on a warrant issued by the Sea Girt Municipal Court.

Andrea Oster, 46, of Golden Eye Lane in Port Monmouth was arrested by Ptl. Michael Reuter for shoplifting from the Bed Bath and Beyond Store. She was held on $10,000 bail with a 10% option set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Alyson Tremer, 33, of Florence Ave. in Hazlet was arrested by Ptl. Adam Vendetti for shoplifting from the Foodtown Store.

Jonathan Harris, 57, of Monmouth Ave. in Leonardo was arrested by Ptl. Albert Scott for violation of a court order. He was released after posting $2,500 with a 10% option set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Debra Joseph, 33, of Crawford Street in Eatontown was arrested by Det. Strohkirch for theft and forgery.

Feb. 21: A 17 year-old male from Belford was arrested by Officers Richard Fulham and Anthony Bumbico of the Quality of Life Unit for possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Louis Palmiotto, 44, of Beaman Boulevard in Atlantic Highlands was arrested by Ptl. Albert Scott for criminal mischief and on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Newark Municipal Court and a Non-Support warrant issued by the Monmouth County Superior Court.  He was held on $9,674.28 bail.

Casey Decorso, 20, of Elmwood Place in Leonardo was arrested by Cpl. Richard Fusella for shoplifting from the Kohls Store.

Codie Robbins, 20, of Camp Lejeune, NC was arrested by Ptl. Adam Vendetti on a desertion. He was held without bail.

Ptl. Anthony Gigante arrested a 16 year-old female juvenile from Red Bank for simple assault and aggravated assault on a teacher.
