Middletown Police Blotter: Nov. 21 - 29
Arrests for inhalation of toxic chemicals, shoplifting from Sears, and theft.
The following information was released by the Middletown Police Dept. on Nov. 29. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. All were released pending a court date unless otherwise noted.
Nov. 21: Sarah Olsen, 23, from Aumack Ave. in Union Beach was arrested by Ptl. Brian McGrogan for shoplifting from Sears. She posted $5,000 bail with a 10% option set by Judge Richard Thompson.
Nov. 22: Ptl. Felipe Benedit arrested a 17 year-old male juvenile from Leonardo, for possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession with the intent to distribute less than one ounce of marijuana.
Ptl. Carl Roth arrested a 17 year-old male juvenile from Navesink for possession of alcohol by a minor.
Nov. 23: Cindy Kowalczyk, 49, from Harbor Green Circle in Red Bank was arrested by Cpl. Douglas Wiatrak for DWI.
Curtis Sullivan, 26, from Palmer Ave. in Middletown was arrested by Ptl. Richard Belmonte for shoplifting from Sears and for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Nov. 25: Ptl. Keith Hirschbein arrested three people for unlawful possession and inhalation of a toxic chemical: Karissa Kundert, 20, of Hudson Ave. in Middletown; Kenneth Brown, 24, from New St. in Asbury Park; and Brittni Gray, 22, from Citation St. in Howell.
In addition, Kundert was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor, Brown and Gray were charged for providing alcohol to minors, and Gray was charged with receiving stolen property. Gray was also wanted on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Municipal Court. She was released after posting $100 bail.
Nov. 26: Joan Cappadona, 30, of Grove St. in Middletown was arrested by Ptl. Adam Vendetti for driving while revoked. She is being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Facility in Freehold.
Brian Brittain, 28, from Ideal Avene in Middletown was arrested by Ptl. Brian McGrogan for shoplifting from Sears.
George Monath, 35, from East Highland Ave. in Atlantic Highlands was arrested by Police Officer Janine Kennedy for violation of a court order. He was held on bail, and has since been released.
Nov. 27: Michelle Reyes, 18, from Pinckney Road in Red Bank was arrested by Ptl. Michael Pintilie for theft, criminal mischief and credit card theft.
Jesse Pianelli, 22, from Ramsey Road in Middletown was arrested by Det. Daniel Sullivan for theft.
Nov. 28: Jason Morgan, 28, from Ave. D in Atlantic Highlands was arrested by Ptl. Michael Allen for violation of a court order.
John Frattin, 33, from West Raleigh Court in Ocean was arrested by Det. Daniel Sullivan for shoplifting from Shop-Rite.
Contempt of Court
Nov. 23: Raymond Brown, 67, from Leighton Ave. in Red Bank was arrested by Cpl. Douglas Wiatrak on contempt of court warrants issued by the Perth Amboy, Long Branch and Tinton Falls Municipal Court. He was released after posting $3,752 in bail.
Nov. 25: Phillip Bryan, 34, from Winthrop Lane in Eatontown was arrested by Ptl. Richard Raike on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Highlands Municipal Court. He was held on $164 bail.
Nov. 26: Christopher Tsipouras, 45, from East First Ave. in Roselle was arrested by Ptl. Brian McGrogan on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was released after posting $500 bail.
Nov. 28: Jon Paul Debow, 27, from North Shore St. in Keansburg was arrested by Ptl. Brian Dilworth on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Aberdeen Municipal Court. He was held on bail.
Nov. 29: Donald Keegan, 64, from Wesleyan St. in Red Bank was arrested by Ptl. Anthony Gigante on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was released after posting $250 bail.
Nov. 29: Aarron Butts, 26, from Throckmorton Ave. in Eatontown was arrested by Ptl. Thomas Russo on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. He was held on $2,500 bail.
