The good news is that in revising the school calendar after seven days of closures due to Hurricane Sandy, no days will be added to the end of the school year. 

But the bad news is that three days off have been taken back and school is back in session on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day and April 1.

The other four days lost were made up by holding school on Veterans' Day and via three built-in snow days.

Now emergency make-up days are being eyed -- in this order -- for June 26, 2013 (for students); March 25, March 26, June 27 (students) and March 27. So don't book any plane tickets just yet if that concerns you.
