An individual suffering a neck injury was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center by MONOC 1 helicopter Tuesday morning after a fall in a residence.

The helicopter arrived at about 11:18 a.m. to the Mater Dei Prep front parking, where a landing zone had been established.

Middletown Township Police, Belford Fire Companies, Port Monmouth Fire Company, Middletown Township Fire Department, MONOC Advanced Life Support Division and EMS from Port Monmouth as well as other emergency personnel from Middletown and Monmouth County responded to the scene and created a landing zone.

At this time the patient’s name, sex, age and condition have not been released.
