Mysterious Middletown Sightings Tour

It's a peaceful place sandwiched in between two popular spots

This the Mysterious Middletown Sightings Tour takes you to a place where there is a small pond, a fountain and a serene aura.

The spot was chosen as the backdrop for a landmark Middletown remembrance site. Do you know what that is?

The small body of water and fountain were intended to add to the atmosphere of calm and quiet.

There is noise nearby, however, from two bustling township hubs. Both attract a lot of people in the community. One brings people into and out of Middletown and the other is a focal point for a lot of creative activity.

Tell us where this sighting is located and why it was chosen for that spot. Do you know any more about the fountain? Is there a time when it is not running? Do you know who maintains this spot? Tell us all you know in the comments section below.

Good guess, Jill, but no. Try another. I think you can figure it out. Question is: What more do you know about it?

We used to call itBanfield's Pond as it sits right behind the old Banfiel Moving Company which is the current site of the Middletown Performing Arts Center. We fished and fed the ducks there for years.

Ah, now that I did not know, Kim. What kind of fish did you get out of that pond? And what about the fountain? Was it always there?

This is on Route 35 South right before you get to Kohls & Stop & Shop.

That's a good guess, Linda, but no. It's actually pretty close. I may have guessed that park as well. It's a little farther north and off of Route 35, not on it. Try again. I'll bet you can guess.
