No, I dont think its ok at all for teenagers to have it or use it. I also dont think its ok to clogg up the court systems, give these kids a criminal record and put thier names in the newspaper for something as minor as smoking a little pot or underage drinking (obviousy dealing is a different story). The police are just doing thier jobs and what they are required to do by law no blame on them, im sure a few may even agree alot of resources are wasted on these minor crimes. I dont know what the solution is but there has to be a better less costly way that doesnt ruin these kids lives over a minor thing like this. The system is out of whack the priorities are out of whack that is why everything is bleeding money. Where are the names of the people getting arrested for pills, herion, cocaine ect. do they not put their names in the paper? Or are those people not being caught because are resources are being used to bust a teenage for smoking a joint. Again I am not at all in favor of kids drinking or doing drugs, I am not against the police or the courts for doing what they are paid to do. I am against wasting money and other resources on minor offenses. I think it could be handled differently with better results.

They should but there names in the paper. I don't care how young or old they are a crime is a crime. The law is the law. No slap on the hand.
