Oh, please. What a joke. The entire township could show up and protest these ridiculous salaries, and the Committee would still approve them.

Then people should show up on election day. Although - the alternatives to the people in office seem much much worse.

Salary information aside, it's very disturbing to see in Section 5 the accrual of unused vacation and sick time. That benefit costs the township a lot of money, and it's a benefit that is not typical in the corporate world. Sick time should never be accrued, and vacation should be taken in the year it is earned.

I halfway agree with you. Sick time should be allowed to be accrued, up to a limit. If it has not been used by retirement, no paying for it. Vacation time should be used within the year it is for. No acrual for vacation time not taken. Use it or lose it.

Grumpy, I agree with you 100%. Use or lose vacation time and no sick time pay-outs upon retirement. Sounds fair to me.

wow, I agree the whole town should show up and protest these bloated, redundant salaries. WE pay these ridiculous salaries and we're just scraping by ourselves.I recently spoke with many people who say they also try to vote in new blood but it's the same people year after year. It's the m'town carousel spinning out of control. Who's counting the votes????
