This may seem silly, but the most memorable thing I recall about a Springsteen concert, was then NY Mets pitcher, Al Leiter, tailgating in the parking lot of Brendan Byrne Arena.

It was the rising tour and I went to see him at the old Giants Stadium and it was pouring, Bruce came on stage and spent the next 2 1/2 hours in the rain with the fans and didn't seem bothered at all..came out to who'll stop the rain..awesome show. Can't wait until this Saturday to see him again

Went with my son for his 1st Bruce concert (my 6th!) at Continental Airlines Arena. Was a great father-son outing, so good we are doing it again this Saturday!

Hearing Bruce play the '78 version of Prove It All Night in Philadelphia on September 3rd. Dream come true!

My parents meet for the first time the woman I was to marry because of Bruce. I had 2 tickets to the Capital Theater in Jersey City, 1978. Way up front. My car got 2 flat tires on the Parkway. We hitched hike to my parent's home. I said "mom, quick I need to borrow your car. Oh, this is Margaret". Then we bolted. We missed the first half of the show but the rest was great.

34 yrs ago my roommate and I in college went to the Agora in Ohio to see the Boss, this Friday, he is driving in and we are going again! This time in NJ

Princeton: Nov.1, 1978. All Saints Day. My best friends and I met Bruce at his house in Holmdel the night before, which was Halloween, so we could pose as trick-or-treaters and not get arrested for trespassing. He came to the door, took one look, and laughed that distiinct raspy giggle, and hung out with us for about half an hour. He asked what kind of cars we drove; we asked him to dedicate songs to our girlfriends, and gave him our section number. The next night we still couldn't believe it actually happened. No one in our section believed us either. Then during the show-in between songs-the stage went black, and the crowd hushed. Bruce stepped to the mic, and he dedicated Thunder Road "to the crazy kids--in section B2--who came up to my house last night." We were instant heroes. Thanks, Bruce. Keep on rockin'.

December 9, 1980 at the Spectrum in Philly, one night after John Lennon's senseless death. Bruce came out alone and spoke about how John Lennon had been a great influence on the development of Bruce's own music and also told the audience that Twist and Shout was the first song that Bruce had ever learned to play as a young musician (who knew?). The E-Street Band came out and they and Bruce broke into a kick-ass version of Born to Run and then (almost 4 hours later) they concluded this extraordinary evening with an uplifting rendition of Twist and Shout that is still embedded in my mind and which certainly made John Lennon a Springsteen fan in rock-n-roll heaven that night. It was an awesome concert.

October 27 1975. Homecoming Concert at the Carlton Theater in Red Bank (now Count Basie). Born to Run was out and Bruce was just on the cover of Time and Newsweek. My friends and I knew him from Steel Mill days and the Student Prince in Asbury on Wednesday nights. while we were going in, obvious NYers offered us $200 each for our tickets which was big money then for us college students. of course we turned them down. Memorable night

August, 2003. It took my breath away. We're going this Friday to see the Wrecking Ball Tour.

Years ago in Detroit. Before I was married with kids.

I never went to any of his concerts, but his driver almost hit my chevette at Freehold area hospital in Freehold now called Centra State.I was parking where the ER now is and a car came speeding in and narrowly missed hitting my car that had my 2 and 3 yr old in it. I was around 26 at the time and flew out of the car yelling how he could have hit my kids and hurt them.The car had blacked out windows and no one came out or even opened a window. I took my kids and went inside about 20 minutes later I saw nurses that I knew running like crazy with papers in their hands, when they came back I asked what was going on.They told me that Bruce and his band mates came to see him but they waited in there car till an irate mom was no where to be seen. I almost died when I realize it was me they hide from.LOL
