UPDATE: Man Atop Seaside Heights Roller Coaster In Police Custody
Police, emergency personnel are on the scene
A man who stood atop the wreckage of the water-drenched roller coaster near the Casino Pier in Seaside Heights Tuesday is now in police custody.
The man, identified as 38 year-old Chris Angulo of Lavallette, climbed aboard the ruins of the Jet Star roller coaster in an effort to call attention to Sandy recovery, according to News12.
State police and local authorities worked earlier Tuesday morning to get the man off the wreckage.

A good thing is that this went world wide on the news. People are forgetting that we had Sandy here. They are just going on with their lives, while this state is still a mess. I think his idea to place the flag up there was a great gesture. We will rebuild. and what do you always see above a new structure being built? Old Glory.

Why is the second photo a picture of a tree being lowered into the 9/11 Memorial site? I don't understand the connection between the 9/11 Memorial and the Casino Pier roller coaster.
