Weekend Outlook for July 21 & 22

This weekend in Middletown, temperatures will be in the high 70s and low 80s with rain on Saturday and sunny skies on Sunday.
The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's Next Stage Ensemble tour will perform Saturday at Middletown Township Public Library. Beginning at noon, members from the company will perform dances to Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Hamlet in the community room of the library. Following the dances, there will be a theatrical performance of Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale beginning at 2 p.m. in the Community Room. The event is free and all ages are welcome.
Middletown’s Got Talent hits the Middletown Arts Center’s stage 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The cost of tickets is $10 for adults and $7 for children. Performers ages 5 and up will sing, play and entertain for the title of Middletown’s Most Talented Act.
Phillip Antone, a Middletown High School South senior with autism, will be holding a Pancake Breakfast to benefit the OASIS (Ongoing Autistic Success in Society) Trail Center at the Applebee’s in Middletown starting at 8 a.m. Tickets are $10 each include a pancake breakfast. Seven dollars of every ticket sold will be donated to OASIS. There will also be a raffle of gift cards and items donated by local businesses. The winning tickets will be drawn immediately following the pancake breakfast. Prizes include a $50 gift card from Zebu Forno in Red Bank, a $40 gift card from Memphis Pig Out in Atlantic Highlands, a $80 Yankee Swirl Candle Basket and more.
The Lincroft Business and Professional Women will host a craft fair Saturday to benefit the Viola B. Evans Scholarship fund. In the event of rain, the craft fair will be moved to July 28. The fair will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 765 Newman Springs Road in Lincroft.
Atlantic Highlands will roll out the red carpet this weekend for the 2012 FilmOneFest. More than 60 one-minute films will have their debut during a Saturday night ceremony. The three-day festival includes a film screening, craft and street fair and awards reception. For more information visit filmonefest.org.
