What's Closed and What's Open on Presidents' Day

Middletown Township offices are closed on Monday, but public schools are open.

 

Formerly known as George Washington's birthday, Presidents' Day is a federal holiday. 

CLOSED

Middletown Township Government offices are closed Monday, as well as county and state government offices. Also closed is the Middletown Township library and Monmouth County libraries. The Post offices are closed, and the only mail to be delivered is Express Mail. 

Most banks are closed. 

Disaster recovery centers in New Jersey will close for Presidents Day. Small Business Administration disaster loan outreach and business recovery centers also will be closed.

OPEN

Public schools are open Monday, to make up for the days Hurricane Sandy closed schools. 

NJ Transit will operate an enhanced weekend rail schedule on Monday. For more information, click here.
