Readers Favor 2 Mother's Day Brunch Spots
Molly Pitcher Inn and The Turning Point finished 1-2 in our survey.
Mother's Day is Sunday, May 13, and participants in our Reader's Choice survey of favorite places for Mother's Day brunch favored the Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank and The Turning Point restaurants in Little Silver and Long Branch.

The poll was limited to restaurants that offer a regular Sunday brunch menu or a special Mother's Day brunch. This edition of the survey covered restaurants from Middletown and south though Long Branch and was open for voting all week on the following Patch sites: Middletown, Red Bank-Shrewsbury, Rumson-Fair Haven, Little Silver-Oceanport and Long Branch-Eatontown.
Restaurants to vote on in this survey included: Molly Pitcher Inn (Red Bank), Oyster Point Hotel (Red Bank), McLoone's Rum Runner (Sea Bright), The River Front Cafe (Sea Bright), The Dockside Restaurant & Tiki Bar (Sea Bright), The Barn Cafe (Rumson), Crown Palace Restaurant (Middletown), The Turning Point (Little Silver or Long Branch*), McLoone's Pier House (Long Branch), Avenue Restaurant (Long Branch), Zoe Bistro (Little Silver).
In a companion survey on our Patch sites in Freehold, Manalapan, Marlboro, Matawan-Aberdeen and Woodbridge, the three favorites were the Buttonwood Manor and the Brass Rail Restaurant, both in Matawan, and the Battleground Country Club in Manalapan.
*The Turning Point also has restaurant in Holmdel.
