Video of Feb 4, 2013 Middletown Township Committee Meeting

This meeting brought residents concerned about the Library branch closings to voice their opposition to the closings. The Committee responded by saying that they had no control over the Library budget and they should speak to the Library Board.

There was a presentation by Planner Jason Greenspan regarding the acceptance of the County Wastewater Management Maps and that a resolution would be on the agenda for the next meeting. Mr. Greenspan also presented on flood hazard mitigation in the bayshore and benefits of raising individual homes over providing flood control measures.

The issue of disposing of large amounts of construction debris that have been collected in a central location and the need to dispose of 75K cubic yards of wood chips was discussed. Carting companies will be selected in resolutions at the next meeting, also.
