Since 2000, the Bayshore Regional Watershed Council's volunteers have been dedicated to the restoration and conservation of Raritan & Sandy Hook Bays through education, advocacy and research.
The Council represents Aberdeen, Atlantic Highlands, Hazlet, Highlands, Holmdel, Keansburg, Keyport, Matawan, Middletown Township, Old Bridge Township, Sayreville Township, South Amboy and Union Beach.

Located next to the Holmdel Post Office, the Holmdel Senior/Community Center is available for group use and party rentals through the office of Parks and Recreation.
It is a one-story building measuring 7260 square feet. It has an assembly area, a kitchen, an office and a storage area. The Center can accommodate a maximum of 150 people.
