The Middletown Planning Board usually meets in the main meeting room of Town Hall, 1 Kings Highway, starting at 6:30 p.m. The meeting is open to the public.
The Planning Board pursuant to state law has the duty to make and adopt and from time to time amend a master plan for the physical development of Middletown Township. The Planning Board also administers the provisions of the Township’s Site Plan and Subdivision ordinances in the review of application for land development in accordance with the provisions of the state Municipal Land Use Law. More About Middletown Township Town Hall/Administrative Offices
Middletown Township Town Hall is located centrally in what is commonly referred to as the Middletown Proper section of the 42-square-mile municipality serving 67,000 residents. Town Hall houses all administrative offices in the portion of the building facing south. The township's police department is housed in the wing of the building facing north. The administrative offices in the town hall are: the office of the mayor, township administrator and clerk. The municipal court is also in the building, in the police wing, and it is also where Township Committee meetings are held on the first and third Mondays of each month.
