Monmouth Conservation Foundation's Holiday Style Luncheon and Shopping Spree Boutique
Monmouth Conservation Foundation will host a Holiday Style Luncheon and Shopping Spree Boutique on Wednesday, December 5 at Navesink Country Club in Middletown. Kim Johnson Gross, co-creator of the bestselling “Chic Simple” book series and author of “What to Wear for the Rest of Your Life” is the featured speaker. Proceeds will benefit the ongoing mission of the Conservation Foundation Attendees can get a jump start on their holiday shopping list at the Boutique featuring exclusive designers – including those who are featured at Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue and Henri Bendel in New York City and even The White House! This unique collection includes distinctive garden pots cast from estate originals and garden decorations created by artistic preservationists Pennoyer Newman, Magaschoni Cashmere, fur accessories and wraps from PK Collection, chic leather handbags, wallets and accessories from Graphic Image and Gigi New York, luxurious scarves, gloves and resort wear by glamourpuss, environmentally conscious holiday arrangements by Sterling Blooms, personalized travel accessories, linens and sleepwear by Catch All Living, menswear by J. McLaughlin, and fine jewelry by The Emily Faith Collection. The boutique will be open from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm and fifteen percent of all sales will go to the benefit of Monmouth Conservation Foundation and a Monmouth County Hurricane relief fund. More About Navesink Country Club
Overlooking the scenic Navesink River, the Navesink Country Club is a private 18-hole golf course with an ice hockey rink, tennis courts, an outside swimming pool and a beautiful club. Established in 1963, the course has well maintained fairways and greens. The 18-hole course was designed by Hal Purdy and unveiled for golfers in 1964.
The course and club's setting is spectacular with views of the river and a beautiful wooded area which most colorful in the fall. The club hosts wedding receptions and banquets. For dining, there are ample tables and a bar, but the club is much more. There are individual areas within the club with fireplaces and couches and chairs with paintings on the wall.
