The Community YMCA and the YMCA of Western Monmouth County are hosting their 24th annual memorial breakfast to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his enduring message of service on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 from 8-10 a.m. at Branches in West Long Branch.
As an organization focused on social responsibility and giving back to the community, this annual Y event brings together local nonprofits, area churches and community leaders to reflect on the teachings of Dr. King and how we can better serve our communities.
The event will include an inspirational speaker, readings and musical selections by local youth.
