Blood Drive at Town Hall

The Central Jersey Blood Center will hold a blood drive at Town Hall on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Contact Karen Moore at 732-842-5750 ext. 243 or visit www.cjbcblood.org and click ‘donate now’ to schedule an appointment. Appointments will be honored but walk-in donors are welcome. All donors will receive a $10 gas gift card and be entered into a drawing to win a pair of  Super Bowl Tickets to the Feb. 2, 2014 game at Met Life Stadium.

Young Ospreys Leave Sandy Hook Bay

It was an early morning high tide at Horseshoe Cove in Sandy Hook Bay, NJ. Off in the distance were the fading nighttime lights of New York City's boundless array of buildings and bridges stretching from Queens and Brooklyn to Staten Island. Except for the occasional downstream flow of wake here and there from outgoing fishing boats, the surface of the water was calm. Full story -->
