'Heroin Kills' Program Comes to High School North Tuesday

Parents and children invited to the 7 p.m. program

A program alerting Middletown parents and their children to the dangers of heroin is coming to High School North Tuesday night.

"Heroin Kills," a presentation by the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office, begins at 7 p.m. Scheduled to speak are Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni, students and law enforcement.

"All of our children are at risk," reads a statement about drug abuse issued by Superintendent William George's office last week. "Come learn what you can do to protect your child."

More information about the program is available here. Check back with Middletown Patch for full coverage of the event.
