On October, Monmouth Conservation Foundation invited reputable preschools in the Monmouth County to join their Kids Capturing Conservation Contest. It is an Art/Photo Contest for children in the preschool and Kindergarten level. The foundation's main objective for the contest is to make the children aware and be part of preserving the environment especially in the Monmouth area.
A number of artworks made by preschoolers from different participating preschools were posted on the Monmouth Conservation Foundation Facebook page. Winners of the Kids Contest will be determined by the number of votes they receive. The three students who get first, second, and third highest number of votes for their entry will each win a birthday party at Huber Woods Environmental Center. The three students who will be on the fourth, fifth, and sixth places for their entry will each receive Canon PowerShot A3400 Camera. Two of the participating schools with the most number of participants/entries in the contest will also received a grant from Monmouth Conservation Foundation.
Last Nov. 1, the foundation had announced the winners. Ivy Hill Preschool won one of the grants! The whole school and all the parents are very proud and happy! At the same time, Giavanna Sosa from the Pre-K class and Adrianna Graham from the preschool class each won the First Prize!

Ivy Hill Middletown Preschool is a private school, which provides a hands-on learning environment for young children ages 2 to 5 years old. Their program stresses enrichment activities that develop language, cognitive, social skills as well as fine & gross motor skills.
