Lincroft Presbyterian Church Jazz Service “Verses, Vibes and Vittles” Raises More Than $1,000 for Family Promise of Monmouth County

Lincroft Presbyterian Church hosted a Jazz service “Verses, Vibes and Vittles,” raising more than $1,000 for Family Promise of Monmouth County, which assists homeless families in Monmouth County.

 

Readings and Psalms on Affliction and Healing were interspersed with luscious sounds of Jazz performed by area musicians: (seated at drums) – Family Promise Executive Director Tracy Boyer, (standing left to right): LPC Interim Pastor George Betz, Pianist Timothy Broege, LPC Music Director John Morrison, Guitarist Doug Clarke, Drummer John Gronert, LPC Liaison and Family Promise Fund Development Committee Member Steve Introcaso and Family Promise Congregation Care Coordinator and Board Member Peter Stahl.

Family Promise of Monmouth County (http://www.familypromisemc.org), an affiliate of national Family Promise, works with community agencies, faith-based services, churches and synagogues to provide shelter, food, transportation and supportive services including case management for homeless families. They are committed to advocating for innovative solutions to ending family homelessness and have an 80% success rate in helping families find housing.
