National Library Week at the Middletown Public Library

Middletown Public Library is celebrating National Library Week,  April 13-19. On April 16, we were fortunate enough to have a special visitor, Senator Joseph M. Kyrillos, N.J. State Senate, 13th Legislative District. After reading a story to children and their parents at our Mother Goose program, Senator Kyrillos was given a guided tour by Middletown Library Director, Kim Rinaldi. Here’s what he had to say about the value of libraries.

“Libraries are not just centers for information and education. They are also a community gathering place. I’m grateful to promote libraries during National Library Week. I want to encourage residents to check out their local libraries to see all that they have to offer. “
