Addressing Street Names in Middletown

Middletown street names that amuse, confuse, and can't be refused

Street names are the personality of a neighborhood, and Middletown is no exception. The township features several streets with unique and eclectic monikers. We’ve listed many of them on House Hunt in the past, but made no reference to them.

Until now.

Just looking over the list, you can imagine some music and dancing on Viola Avenue and Lindy Lane. Or the wooded forests that come to mind when you imagine living on Tall Timber Road, Maplewood Avenue, Cherry Tree Lane, and even Acorn Drive.

More vibrantly colorful details are conjured while picturing White Oak Ridge Road and Green Oak Boulevard. And think of the prestige you must feel living on Presidential Path, University Drive, Park Place, and the quintessential Wealthy Avenue.

You can ponder the name of the street on which you currently live while looking through our gallery of open houses this Sunday, August 7. We grabbed the details and photos from Realtor.com, and made sure the addresses represented flowers, shrubs,  basic math, a little rhythm, and a higher power or two.
