Expect Delays: Gas Main Replacement Work at Rt. 520 and Half Mile Road

Half-Mile Road will be closed at the intersection of Route 520 through end of day Monday.

Traffic delays at the intersection of Route 520 and and Half-Mile Road in Middletown are due to a natural gas main replacement project by New Jersey Natural Gas.

There is a one-lane closure on Route 520 West until end of day today, said a spokeswoman. But Half-Mile Road will be closed at the intersection of Route 520 through end of day Monday. There will be no work performed on the weekend.

Drivers can expect traffic delays and should plan travel accordingly, said Renée M. Amellio of NJNG. "After Monday, normal traffic patterns will resume."
