Mysterious Middletown Sightings Tour

Do you know where these WW II era cannons sit on a great lawn and what other tidbits of history go along with them?

This week's Mysterious Middletown Sightings Tour takes you to a place where a bit of war history is preserved on a great lawn with township ties.

That provision was not adhered to and the memorial was "smashed to bits," Landmarks Commission Chairwoman MaryLou Strong had said.

Do you know who the honorees are? Do you know what the pieces of equipment are on the site? Where is the memorial now? Tell us anything and everything you may know about this site, including the history of the red house behind it. Comment away in the section below. We need your help on this one.
