Prelude to Stormy Weather: Spy House Harbor on Thursday

Calm waters make for a slide show look at Middletown's shores

Before the rain came, there were eerily calm waters at the bayside beach by the historic Spy House. The subtle surf was the only sound that could be heard in the little known corner of the Jersey shore on a quiet, dank day. Quirky old-timer townie, the late Art Weimer, used to call the area the jewel in the crown of the Bayshore. Here's to Art!
