Saturday Exhibit, Ornament Sale Celebrate Middletown's History

2014 marks 350 years since Middletown's founding

The celebration of Middletown's 350th anniversary continues Saturday with a historical exhibition and ornament sale.

Residents are invited to learn about their town, which marks the milestone in 2014, at the Middletown library from 2 to 4 p.m. Historical sketches, reenactments and music will be presented in the Community Room.

All are invited to the program sponsored by the Middletown Township Historical Society, and more information is available by calling 732-671-3700.

Locals can commemorate Middletown's birthday with a glass ornament, available for $15 during the library program.

Ornaments also can be purchased Saturday at the Old First Church on Kings Highway from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. or by contacting townclerk@middletownnj.org or
