See 'NFL Pros' vs 'The Shore Things' at Middletown Day Saturday

NFL Pros will play against a group of locals called "The Shore Things" in a charity flag game at Middletown Day Saturday at Croydon Hall in Leonardo. 

The NFL team includes Keith Baldwin (Cleveland Browns), Darian Barnes (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), Brandon Bing (NY Giants), Barrett Brooks (Pittsburgh Steelers), Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson (Cincinnati Bengals), Tony Logan (NE Patriots), Michael Campbell (NY Jets), and Danny Lansanagh (NY Jets).

The “Shore Things” roster includes Middletown Township Committee members and employees, and Board of Education members.

Two quarters will also be played by the Middletown Eagles and River Plaza Chargers, and two quarters will be played by youth members of local AYF teams.

The game is sponsored by the Middletown Day 2013 Committee and Dreams for Kids.

Tickets are $10 for the game or $30 for a VIP admission. 

VIP admission includes a pre-game reception in the Field House at 6:00 pm with NFL Pros and a game ticket.   

Proceeds benefit Dreams for Kids and the Middletown Disaster Relief Fund.

Tickets can be purchased at Middletown Day tomorrow at the Information Booth. 

An NFL Pro Store will be open for business during Middletown Day from noon through the end of the game. It will be located at the football field.
