Two public forums on the plans for the future of the Rumson-Sea Bright Bridge over the Shrewsbury River (Monmouth County Bridge S-32) will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 23.
An afternoon session will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. in the public meeting room of the Sea Bright Municipal Building at 1167 Ocean Ave in Sea Bright.
A second public forum will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Media Room of Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School at 74 Ridge Rd. in Rumson.
Both events will be conducted in an “open house” format where display boards will provide specific information about the bridge replacement design, lighting, traffic, and other improvements at the eastern terminus of Rumson Road (County Route 520). Residents of Sea Bright and Rumson, local officials and the business community are encouraged to review the information.
For more information about the closure, see coverage on the Rumson-Fair Haven Patch site.
