Amanda’s Easel 9/11 Art Project at MAC

Amanda’s Easel Program of 180 Turning Lives Around will sponsor a community arts project to residents of Middletown and the surrounding area at the Middletown Arts Center (MAC) on Sept. 1 and 8 from 7 to 9 p.m., and Sept. 11 from 2 to 4 p.m.

The theme will be “A Community Connected: To Each Other, To Healing, To Hope," the current exhibit at the MAC. Participants will be asked to create a representation of a person or people in the community to whom they feel connected. It is hoped that the piece will represent individual and communal resiliency.

The activities are free and open to all. For more information on participating in the community arts project, please call Amanda’s Easel at 732-787-6503.
