Monmouth Players ‘Neil Simon’s Lost in Yonkers’

One of America’s funniest playwrights travels back to 1942 for a memory play about two brothers dealing with their eccentric extended family in New York, with “Neil Simon’s Lost in Yonkers.” The show won four Tony Awards, including Best Play, and a Pulitzer Prize.

Monmouth Players is staging the 1991 Broadway smash at the Navesink Library Theater, located in the back of the Navesink Library at the corner of Sears and Monmouth Avenues. The theater entrance faces the parking lot between the library and the school next door.3

The show opens on Feb. 4 and runs through Feb. 25. Evening shows begin at 8:15 p.m., while Sunday matinees raise the curtain at 2 p.m.
