The Monmouth Museum presents NJ Emerging Artists Series: Gary Dates Photographs, at the museum's gallery from April 29 through May 29.
An opening reception will be held on April 29 starting at 6 p.m. A Gallery Talk will be held on May 25 at 7 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public.
Mr. Dates likes to create images that are realistically impossible, but not necessarily surreal or abstract in nature. Although the digital images are composited in the program Photoshop, much of the artist's work is done in-camera.
