Writer’s Group at MTPL

The Middletown Township Public Library is hosting a Writer's Group in the NJ History Room of the main branch.

To support writers in their creative process, this group discusses the writing process, with a focus on providing active, supportive critiques of each other's work. Adults and teens that have a goal of publishing their fiction or non-fiction work are welcome to attend.

All attendees should bring four copies of a two to six page piece they would like to have work-shopped during the session. Small critique circles of 3 to 4 people share their work, taking turns offering constructive criticism of each other's work. All work is returned to the author with written comments by the end of the session.

Register online at the library’s website by visiting www.mtpl.org and clicking on the calendar.
