It's all for art's sake of "pure expression."

The Arts Access Program of the Matheny Medical and Educational Center, Peapack, is displaying paintings created by its artists with disabilities in an exhibit named for its intent —  “Pure Expression.”

The exhibit will run from Feb. 12 to Mar. 18 at the Monmouth Museum, on the Brookdale Community College campus in the Lincroft section of Middletown, with a free reception on opening day from 3 to 5 p.m. The reception is open to the public.
