Road Closures

 Swimming River Road will be closed between Route 520 and Route 537 on Monday, July 23 from 8 a.m. to 4 pm. A detour will be provided. Local traffic will be provided access to Swimming River Road. The closure relates to ongoing repair work at the New Jersey American Water Treatment Plant.

The Middletown Zoning Board will meet Monday, July 23 at 7p.m. for their regularly scheduled meeting in the Main Meeting Room of the Resolutions of their committee’s agenda include the approval of the addition of five new classrooms and a multipurpose room of the Mountain Hill School. Artists The Del Angels will recreate the sounds of girl groups of the '50's and '60's during their performance at the . The Middletown Summer Concert Series is every other Thursday, July 26th from 7 to 9 p.m. The concert is free. The Middletown Township Education Association (MTEA) and the Middletown Arts Center sponsor the performances.

The Nerds will perform a pop rock routine during the Sandy Hook Foundation’s weekly Wednesday concert series at Area E in . The July 25 concert begins at 6 p.m. and admission is free. Beach wheelchairs are also available on a first come first serve basis.  Weather cancellations made at 2 p.m. day of the show. For more information call (732) 291-7733.
