Red Bank's Two River Times Changes Hands

Financier Dominic DiPiero has bought the paper.

Domenic DiPiero, an executive within Red Bank's Newport Capital Group, has bought Red Bank's Two River Times.

The broad sheet paper was previously owned by Michael Gooch, and has seen four owners since its founding in 1990. 

“I look forward to continuing the great tradition that The Two River Times has built,” DiPiero said in the paper's announcement. “I want the newspaper to continue to be a source of pride and news in the community.”

Domenic DiPiero served on the Riverview Medical Center Foundation board from 2004-2012 and served as chair for two years.  He currently serves on the Meridian Health Strategic Planning Committee. 

According to the Foundation, Domenic DiPiero, with his wife, Hilary, chaired the Meridian Health Affiliated Foundations’ Gala in 2013, raising more than $500,000 for the foundations. Recently the DiPero's have hosted the Riverview Medical Center’s Family Fireworks on the Navesink, and have raised more than $150,000 for Riverview Medical Center.
