CBA Colts Recognized at Shore Conference Sportsmanship Banquet
CBA's athletic director is awarded Monmouth County Athletic Director of the Year; Middletown's Michael Oxley won a Shore Conference 2014 Sportsmanship Award.
On June 1, the Shore Conference presented awards to Monmouth County senior student-athletes who were selected as 2014 Sportsmanship Award winners. Wrestler and recent graduate Michael Oxley of Middletown was CBA’s nominee and recipient.
“Sportsmanship means being a humble winner or a gracious loser,” said Michael. “Win or lose, it is a respect for the opponents’ passion, perseverance that transcends the game.”
The two-time regional champion and state place winner will attend Hofstra University this fall.

“It is a great honor to be considered for this type of recognition by my peers,” shared Mr. Przygocki, who has given 41 years of service to CBA this year.
