Occupy Wall Street Sits in on Red Bank [VIDEO]

A look at a Red Bank gathering of Monmouth County residents designed to foster dialogue on area economics — poverty versus wealth

Nearly a month after Occupy Wall Street protests began in New York City, the movement has spread throughout the country and the world.

Communities both large and small are joining together in protest against the large disparity in wealth between the richest 1 percent of Americans and, as they've taken to calling themselves, the 99 percent. 

On Saturday, about 40 area residents joined together to occupy Marine Park in Red Bank. Less of a formal protest and more of an active dialogue concerning the state of the country and its government and economy, the event featured participants of all ages joining together in earnest discussion.
